Our Lisianthus Seeds. Lisianthus or Eustoma grandiflorum is a highly prized annual flower among florists for its resemblance to the rose, its slender and ramified stems, and its large single or double corollas, in a wide range of pastel or vibrant colours.
Our selection notably includes Lisianthus F1 LisAdora Apricot III, distinguished by its soft apricot colour, very decorative in romantic cut flower arrangements. Or also ‘Cessna Vogue IV’, semi-double, white edged with cherry red. Lisianthus F1 Cessna Yellow III brings a touch of soft yellow to sunny borders, while Cessna Blue or Blue Picotee III play on lavender blue or violet-edged shades, to compose more contrasting bouquets.
We offer many references in the form of coated seeds, easier to handle, which allow for more regular germination.
Lisianthus appreciate sun, a fertile, light, well-drained but cool soil. Their cultivation requires patience, as germination is slow and the young plants are sensitive to excess water and cold.
Sow the seeds in warmth and light, without covering them, then prick them out into pots before planting them in their final position after the frosts. Mulch the soil, stake the tallest stems and remove faded flowers to prolong flowering and obtain beautiful stems for cutting.
