Kerria japonica or Japanese kerria is a shrub with yellow pom-pom flowers in spring. Hardy and highly decorative, it can be planted in full sun or partial shade, as a hedge, in the back of a border, or as a specimen plant, in a damp and well-drained soil. It is a lovely bushy shrub that offers several varieties. Among them, we particularly like Japanese kerria pleniflora whose double, orange-yellow flowers shine like thousands of little suns in April and May!  In the garden, it tends to sucker a bit but its maintenance and pruning are easy.

You'll adore them!
