Planting and care

The only drawback with hybrids is that they can sometimes be short-lived; the stumps hollow out and rot. The best way to make them last is to divide the stumps every 2 to 3 years, preferably in the spring. Once regenerated, they will be your companions for life. Deciduous, the foliage completely disappears in winter.
